Our standard lessons are 1 hour long, which is ideal for maintaining focus and ensuring steady progress. If you prefer longer sessions, we can also arrange 2-hour lessons upon request. We don't offer 1 hour 30 minute classes.
It depends on several factors: your native language, your consistency with homework, your attendance, and how much exposure you have to Spanish outside the classroom. Because every student is different, it's almost impossible to give an accurate prediction before your first lessons. In general, fluency can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years depending on your dedication and learning pace. At Hablando, we do everything we can to help you progress as fast as possible – but we also like to be honest: learning a language is a process, not a miracle. We need your collaboration, your effort, and your commitment to make it happen.
All our classes are designed for a maximum of 2 students. We don't offer larger group lessons because learning in big groups is significantly slower, and each student receives much less speaking time and personalised attention. You won't always have the same partner, either. If one student progresses faster than the other, we reorganise the pairs to make sure everyone continues learning at the right pace and gets the most out of each class.
Perfect! In these cases, we assess your level during the first lesson and place you directly into the part of the program that matches your current knowledge, so you don't waste any time reviewing things you already know. We teach all levels, from scratch to fluent, and we make sure every student continues exactly from the point they need.
All Spanish speakers understand each other, regardless of the country they come from. At Hablando, we are teachers from Spain and Latin America, and you will naturally have lessons with both. This helps you get familiar with different accents and vocabulary, so you can adapt confidently to any Spanish-speaking country.
Yes! All our events are free and exclusive for Hablando students. They're a great opportunity to practice Spanish in real-life situations, connect with others, and be part of our community.
Yes, we offer online lessons as a complement to our face-to-face classes upon request. We don't provide fully online programs because we believe students learn faster and more effectively in person, where real interaction and language immersion happen naturally. Online lessons are simply an additional option for days when coming to the school isn't possible.
No, we don't offer free trial classes. However, you can book a first lesson for a small fee, and then decide whether you'd like to continue. We're confident you'll enjoy the experience – more than 1,000 students over the past years have continued learning with us after their first class.
No, our programs are designed specifically for adults, so we currently do not offer lessons for children. We love kids, but we're not equipped to provide this type of learning experience at the moment.
